This following document sets forth the Privacy Policy for the Gluten Free For Me Mobile Application.

Gluten Free For Me is committed to providing you with the best possible experience with their application. Gluten Free For Me is bound by the Privacy Act 1988, which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.

Collection of your personal information

Currently, all aspects of the application are accessible without an account and therefore no personally identifiable information is collected. In the future there may be a requirement for an account. The information that would be required may include but not limited to: personally identifiable information such as a name, a unique username and password, or information for the recovery of a lost password.

Sharing of your personal information

Gluten Free For Me does not collect or share users’ personal information through normal use of the application.

If a user voluntarily contacts support (e.g. via email), limited personally identifiable information such as an email address or name may be provided by the user. This information is used solely for responding to support requests and is not used for any other purpose or shared with third parties except where required to resolve the support request.

Health Data

Gluten Free For Me does not collect, store, or process any personal health or medical data.

The application allows users to scan or import images of product ingredient lists, extract ingredient information using on-device processing, and compare those ingredients against a predefined database to identify potential gluten content. This process is performed solely to provide general informational results about ingredients and does not involve the collection of any personal health information.

Users may optionally save scan results locally within the application for future reference. These saved results are not linked to any personal identity and are not shared with third parties. All image processing and ingredient analysis is performed without collecting or transmitting personal data.

Use of your personal information

For each user of the application, we collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:  Device token, locale identifier, time zone, app version, firebase instance and instance ID. This information is used solely for analytics, app performance monitoring, and improving the functionality of the application.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will use for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Gluten Free For Me reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not use the application.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons.

Requesting Your Data Deletion

You have a right to request the deletion of your personal information from the cloud backup. Simply contact glutenfreeformeapp@gmail.com to confirm you want your information removed. Any other personal data can be removed by uninstalling the application.
